Adds an Exit button to the toolbar and the File menu "Exit" item. The button is shown here next to the green restart icon.

How to install this extension:
1) Double-click the link above or if that doesn't work Right-click and choose "Save Link As..." to Download and save the file to your hard disk.
2) In Mozilla Thunderbird, open the Add-ons Manager (Tools Menu/Add-ons)
3) Click the Cog wheel button at the top, and select "Install Add-on From File..." Select the file and click on the Open button.
4) Restart Thunderbird.

After installation, right-click on the toolbar, select Customise... and drag the Exit button to the toolbar, placing it any where you want.

If you don't wish the File menu "Exit" item to show an icon, insert this into your userChrome.css file:

Adds an Empty Deleted button to the toolbar. The Trash folder is also compacted. The button is compatible with Thunderbird 3 default theme and shown here underneath the Go menu.

Adds a Get All Mail Accounts button to the toolbar. It is intended to be used as a replacement for the default Get Mail icon which has a drop arrow to select individual accounts and which only gets mail from one account when clicked. The button is compatible with Thunderbird 3 default theme and shown here underneath the File menu.

After installation, right-click on the toolbar, select Customise... and drag the Get All Mail Accounts button to the toolbar, placing it any where you want. You may drag the default Get Mail button into the Customise... dialog to remove it.

 

This extension adds a button to the toolbar and to various menus. It performs the 'Mark All Read' function found in the "Message...Mark...All Read" menu, folder pane folder context menu "Mark Folder Read", thread pane and message pane context menu "Mark...All Read". It places an icon on these menu items as well. The button is shown here as a tick with 3 green dots underneath the Message menu. Icons are now standard 16x16 pixels and 24x24 pixels. Also there is a toolbar button for "Mark Thread as Read". Also adds a toolbar button for "Goto Next Unread Thread". Additional code and icons courtesy of Benoît Bailleux.

You may find that my icons don't show up in menus if you have another theme or extension that installs other icons and overrides mine. In that case, insert this into your userChrome.css file:
